"Bhartari gufa is the cave where the great Yogi Bhartrihari performed Tapasya.(penance)
Bhartrihari is believed as the elder brother of the king Vikramaditya.
He abandoned the Kingdom, took Deeksha in Nath panthi and became Yogi.
He did Tapasya here, with his friend Gopi Nath" Thereis also another cave as Gopinath Gufa

Though named as gufa they are subterraneal cells suitable for one persons penance

There are 9 main Nath Yogis known as Navanath and 84 siddha Yogis. The names of the 9 Nath Yogis are listed below
