Treforgan Colliery (Disused)

A vast amount of money was spent here by the NCB / British Coal throught the late 1980s up to approx 1994 sinking 3 new ultra modern drifts to develop this new mine. The colliery however was closed without ceremony by the powers that be in approx 1994 despite there apparently being a huge reserve of coal.
