Tuulemae railway station was located in Valga County, in what is now Valga Parish. The waiting platform remained in Korijärve village. When the stop opened, it remained in Sangaste Municipality. When it was closed, it was on the border of Tuulemae Parish and the villages of Valtina and Korijärve in Karula Parish. The Valga–Petseri railway section, completed in 1889 as part of the Riga–Pskov railway, passes through Tuulemae. The Tuulemae stop was built in 1928. Until 2001, passenger trains ran through Tuulemae on the Valga–Veski route. Currently, the railway is used only for freight transport. The Tuulemae railway station had a low platform and a waiting pavilion.
