USA / Utah / Enoch /

An extinct volcano that is now a public borrow pit. The hill is full of red cinders for a small fee paid to the Bureau of Land Management in Cedar City. Neat looking area and nice overlook. For more info:

  • Actually you need a permit from the Bureau of Land Management ofice in Cedar City, I paid $10.50 for a minimum permit of 12 cubic yads and had two weeks to get it. Only had the energy to load maybe 3 tons by hand in very cold weather.
  • I have gone back for landscape rock.
  • Imagine filling a gabion with red cinders. make the neighbors eyes pop.
