Supposed to agglomerate the Tianjin fishing boats that are getting evicted from their old ports due to development. It has a 6 berth 5000 DWT wharf for large oceanic fishing, a long wharf for coastal fishboats, and on the other half port, a yachting club under construction. It was put under the Sino-Singapore Ecocity's authority in 2014. The hinterland is supposed to be developed as a fish processing center and cold-chain logistics center
