palace, pond
Chundang Pond is actually two ponds. The larger one to the southeast is Daechundangji, which features an island and the smaller is Sochundangji to the northwest.
North on the Changgyeong Palace grounds is a large pond called Chundangji. Half of this pond was originally a rice field that the King cared for but during the Japanese Occupation the rice field was converted to a pond with little ships floating on it.
