"On August 17, 2011, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), led the groundbreaking ceremony of the Philippine Arena. This 50,000-seater indoor multi-purpose structure with a grand courtyard that can accommodate up to 100,000 people will be built on a 75-hectare land straddling the municipalities of Bocaue and Sta. Maria, Bulacan that was purchased by the Church. It will serve as one of the major facilities that will rise in the planned city called Ciudad de Victoria (City of Victory) wherein Eraño G. Manalo Medical Center and the New Era University Sports Complex and Stadium, Bocaue Campus, will also be built. Set to be completed by early 2014, the centennial year of the Church Of Christ, the construction of the Philippine Arena will be undertaken by an international team of leading firms from Australia (Populous), the United Kingdom (Buro Happold), and South Korea (Hanhwa)."- Pasugo: God's Message September 2011, page 25.
