St. Peter's Church (Terranova da Sibari)

The church of San Pietro, it was built in medieval times and consists of a reservoir with a single nave and a bell tower with mullioned windows. The small church contains works of exceptional artistic and historical significance beginning with the niche with the Madonna and child, probably made locally fifteenth century, the frescoed dome, the statues of Our Lady of the Rosary, Our Lady of Help dating from the eighteenth century, the statue of 'Ecce Homo and St. Peter and other works worthy of attention.
The church is situated in the history centre of the country.
