  Khost is popular for coal in minerals and for agricultural products once it was popular for apples and Anar, unluckily now as days, due to continouse dearness (khusksali)and leading to change in climate, the people has unrooted their trees of apples and have diverted toward cultivation of onions and othere seasonal vegitables.
