JyLT08a - Sree Jageshwar temple of Almora dt is also beleived that Jyothir Ling Temple. There are three temples are believed as Nageshwar Jyotir Ling.This one is second.Others are in Darukavan,Gujrat and Aunda Naganat, Hingol Maharashtra.
This Complex houses over 100 big or small Temple dating from 9th to 13th Century AD. However, local and mythological beliefs put the date of erection of this complex longer back in History. The complex is surrounded by a thick "Deodar" forest.
The place is flocked by pilgrims from all over the country specially during the auspicious month of "Saawan" - Monsoon month of August to worship Lord Shiva. The main temples are that of "Mrityunjaya", "Jyotirlinga" and "Pushti Devi".
