Nathan Söderblom (1866-1931) was born in Trönö and is known as the theologian, churchman, ecumenical pioneer in Sweden and the world, and the Archbishop from 1914. Söderblom received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1930.
The sculpture is welded using ten mm weathering steel, and is naturally proportioned standing approximately 175 cm high, the port is about 300 cm high. In the church gateway the word "Peace" is revealed in different languages. The sculpture was erected in 2001
