Wadi al-Ahmar (Arabic: الوادي الاحمر al-Wādī al-Aḥmar). Literal meaning: Red Valley. Alternative spelling: Wadi Ahmar, Wadi al-Hammar.

A valley marking the closest point to Sirte that LNTC forces managed to reach on the 28th of March 2011. According to local sources the valley was heavily mined. A counter-attack by loyalist forces pushed LNTC soldiers back towards Bin Jawad.
