Conrail Minnick Signal Power Generation Plant (retired)

Converter station to generate the 6900v 100Hz (91 2/3hz) signal power for the pole line power supply along the Port Road Branch. Power was originally supplied via the Pennsylvania Railroad's electrification system, but this was removed in the early 1980's. Signal power was still required due to the isolated nature of the port road branch. The 6900v power line was retired in 2009.
