Westerner's Compond (Jeddah)

This is one of the places westerners live in Jiddah. Within the walls life is pretty westernized, but without the walls it is a strict Muslim country. There are small pockets where Westerners can act normally without too much restriction. This particular compound has houses surrounding a tennis court, squash court, water tower and a swimming pool. The darker colored houses are Scandinavian style, whereas the lighter colored ones on the northern half are more modern concrete style.
