Brush Prairie is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clark County, Washington, United States. The population was 2,384 at the 2000 census. Brush Prairie was named by Elmarine Bowman, daughter of Merrit and Maddora Bowman, for a brushy prairie and swamp near her father's homestead. The Bowmans were one of the first white families to settle in the area.
