The Bristol Laboratory for Advanced Dynamics Engineering (BLADE) facilities have now been fully operational for the 2 years since they were opened by HM The Queen in 2005. Based on the visionary plans formulated in 1999, BLADE now provides unique capabilities for studying the dynamics of structures and machines ranging across the entire engineering spectrum.
