An arrangement of 10 deactivated Intercontinental Ballistic Missile silos once manned by the 227th Guards Missile Regiment, 10th Guards Missile Division. The regiment was activated in March of 1966 at Kostroma and assumed alert duty three years later with the UR-100 (SS-11) missile. These were replaced in 1977 with the MR-UR-100 missile, which remained until the 227th stood down in 1988 and was disbanded.
