Sośno [ˈsɔɕnɔ] is a village in Sępólno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Sośno. It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-east of Sępólno Krajeńskie and 37 km (23 mi) north-west of Bydgoszcz. Sośno is the hometown father's of Janick Gers, guitarist of the British heavy metal group Iron Maiden. The musician visited this place as a child.
