  Ahamadiyya Muslim community was founded by Hadrath Mirza Ghulam Ahmed (peace be upon him) In 1889AD, as per the guidence of Allah Almighty and the sayigs (Hadith) of the last law bringing prophet Hadrath Muhammad(Khataman Nabiyeen),peace and blessing of Allah be upon him. Just with in 100 years Ahmadiyya Muslim community established their Missions in more than 180 countries of the world and till date they have translated the Holy Quran in about 70 world languges. They are having their own Sattelite Television Stations by name MTA(Muslim Television Ahmadiyya) which, telecast the Islamic teachings and propagate the Islamic views and culture in the light of the Holy Quran and the sayings of the holy prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) world over 24 hours a day. They are having their own web site by name alislam.org. which is the only web site of its kind which is free from all sorts of evil and vulgarity. Ahmadi Muslims believes in the religious tolerance, peace and communal harmony among fellow human beings. Our slogan is "LOVE FOR ALL HATRED FOR NONE". Sir Mohammad Zafrullah Khan the the first foreign minister of Pakistan and former president of the international court of Justice at Hague, and the first and only Muslim Nobel laureate in Physics Dr. Abdus Salam was also the member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. After demise of the founder of the community in 1908 the institution of khelafat (successorship) came to existance as per the sayings of the holy prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him). Present Khalifa his holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Sahib is the fifth Khalifa (successor) of Ahmadiyya Muslim community. Khalifa is the supreme head of the world wide Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam. This Mosque is known as Tahir Mosque, Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad was the fourth successor (Khalifa/Supreme Head) of Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community,so this Mosque is named as Tahir Mosque.
