  • Moderately Urban, mixed population. Many standard big box stores and some unique Mom and Pop stores. Features are the John Deere Commons, a tourist location for farmers and the i Wireless center, the local stadium/arena. Most neighborhoods are mixed population as stated but the north-east side features many ethnic Mexican and Korean stores to cater to the populations there. Notable Streets are The Avenue of the Cities (23rd Avenue) which is a popular business center and John Deere Road which is the newer developments in the city. Sister cities like Rock Island and East Moline blend together and are nearly indistinguishable from Moline Proper. Together with the rest of the Quad Cities and Suburbs the population of the QCA (Quad Cities Area) is 275,000 roughly. In the Middle of the Quad Cities is a Military Arsenal with a rich history and a museum with factories and computer servers that employs thousands of people on an island called Arsenal Island. This all lies at the convergence of the Rock River and the Mississippi River as well as the end of the Hennepin Canal.
