  • Barhiya is a Block head Qrs. in Lakhisarai District. It has a Nagar Panchayet. There are Girls School,High School and a College at Barhiya.Sweets are sold very cheap here. The river Ganga also touches this town.It is located on the Main Line under East Central Railway.Long ago many people were crushed under the wheels of Toofan Express at the Barhiya railway station agitating for stoppage. Toofan Express now stops here.This tow is electrified.

  • This z akshay a resident of ramsen; last week i was shocked to know dat ones my friends father had been to barhiya forhigher studies n 2 day dere z no scope fr higher edctn dere except de mighty nnnavodaya..isnt its shame less dat a village wchich has more than 5000 bighas land doesnt have a modernised eqipped school
