Cheb (deutsch: Eger) ist eine im Karlovarský kraj liegende Stadt im äußersten Westen Tschechiens. Die Stadt liegt am Fluss Ohře (deutsch: Eger) im nördlich und südwestlich an Deutschland grenzenden Chebsko (deutsch: Egerland), dessen historisches Zentrum die Stadt bildet.

    Cheb je mesto s bohatou historii sahajici az do 9 stoleti kdy byla na brehu reky Ohre postavena slovanska pevnost. Nejznamejsi budovou mesta je SPALICEK - komplex nekolika gotickych remeslnickych domu na dolni casti namesti, ktere jsou unikatni architektonickou pamatkou. Cheb je znamy pro svuj Jazzovy festival v zari a festival dechovych hudeb (FIJO) kazdy druhy rok v cervenci. Cheb is a town with rich history dating back to 9th century when a slovanic fortress was built on the left bunk of the Ohre river. The most famous building is SPALICEK - a complex of several gotic houses at the lower part of the main square. Cheb is famous for its Jazz festival every September and festival of the youth wind orchestras every other summer.
