Abandoned rail siding, contains New York Central S-1 electric #100, the first S-1 built in 1905 as #6000. #100 is also one of the first electric locomotives to be built and run in the U.S., and one of only 3 S-1's remaining. This siding also contains New York Central T-3a electric 278, the LAST T-3a electric in existence. Used in movie "The House on Carroll Street". Both owned by the Mohawk-Hudson chapter of the NRHS, both in need of SEVERE RESTORATION. Help needed. Go to Railroad.Net, search "NYC electrics in Glenmont".
