Dudhaleshwar - 500 years old Mahashiv Temple
Dudaleshwar is a holy place situated on the boundary of Todgarh Roali Wildlife Sanctuary.Total forest area of the sanctuary is 495.27 Sq. Km.The geographical area of the sanctuary is spread in three revenue districts of Rajsamnd, Pali and Ajmer.The ecotourism site is a part of the Todgarh Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary. Its declaration was done in the year 1983 under the Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972. It is one of the large sanctuaries of Rajasthan is named after the famous British historian col. James Tod, who stayed in this region for some time. The western part of sanctuary is semi arid and plain. There is a British time rest house near to it at a place called Raoli, overlooking a beautiful lake. The temple is about 500 years old. The water from the spring flows through a Kund (Water hole). Pilgrims coming here drop a coin in the \"Kund\" and if air bubbles rise on the surface of water, than it is believed that their demands have been fulfilled by Lord Shiva.
