St. Nicholas Monastery - located on the right bank of the Ros River, just below the city of Bohuslav, on a hill surrounded by ravines with all sides. The monastery has a very ancient history dating back to the 16th century. Originally built not far from. Hochitva was later transported to Bohuslav. Samiylo Samus played a significant role in the rebuilding of the monastery, but it was again destroyed by the enemy of Samusya Pylyp Orlyk and the Tatars (beginning of the 18th century.) After the rebuilding of the Bohuslav Poles, the monastery became Basilian or Greco-Uniate and was moved closer to Bohuslav, to its present place. After the construction of the tree church in the name of St. Nicholas, the monastery becomes Orthodox again (1768). In 1787 the church was burned down and in 1799 a church was built on its site. At Boguslavsky Monastery from 1818 to 1884 there was a spiritual school. The monastery was in existence until 1929, then there was an orphanage (until 1967) and then a dormitory of the pedagogical school (until 1993).
