The Hidden Valley Raceway is the location where all Solar Car Teams gather for their final preparation and qualification for the World Solar Challenge, a Solar Powered race from Darwin to Adelaide vis the Stuart Highway. This race was first run in 1987 and has been run every two years since 1993.
