An incorporated municipal district, known as a Düüreg, located in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Sükhbaatar is one of nine districts that make up the municipality of Ulan Bator, and comprises 18 micro-districts known as Khoroos. The district was established in 1965 and named after Damdin Sükhbaatar, a Mongolian military leader and revolutionary hero. Much of the city's core is situated here.
As of 2004, it had an approximate population of 112,533 in 24,568 households.
