An incorporated municipal district, known as a Düüreg, located in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Khan Uul is one of nine districts that make up the municipality of Ulan Bator, and comprises 14 micro-districts known as Khoroos. It encompasses most of Ulan Bator's south side which includes manufacturing and power-production facilities, a new suburban expansion south of the Tuul River, Chinggis Khaan International Airport, and the west half of Bogd Khan Uul, a UNESCO World Heritage site with an elevation of 3000 feet (914m).
With a population of 87,912, it has one of the highest growth rates of the nine districts.
