Dezhgan is strategically located behind the Gulf water and the Zagros mountain range known as Abarkooh, on the main road from Lengeh to Bandar Abbas. It is a crossroad to Podol n Lemezan as well leading to Bastak and Shiraz. Dezhgan is famour for water reservoir domes know locally as "berkeh", there is also old water canals and old school building known as Madraseh. Nearby Mehran river takes it is final stage here before merging into the Gulf waters.
