There are two very beautiful old Shib Mondirs. One mondir is big which has a black Shib lingo and the other temple is small which has a white Shib lingo. Tourists may visit this place. There is also a Nutmondir in the west side of the temples. Tourist may stay for one night to complete the Purbasthali tour.
The tour may be arranged as under
1st day : Take a local train of Katwa line and reach Purbasthali Rly. Stn. Then take van-rickshaw to Kasthasali Bazar. Stay at Porijai Abas. Arrange for food for the day and next day. Then take some rest at the guest house(Porijai Abas). Start your tour at 2 p.m. and visit The Ganga, The Jora Shib Mondir, Football ground, Jomidar Bari, Nutmondir, the village, the Tatibaris (famous for tater sari).
2nd day : Early in the morning go to the ghat and take deshi/local boat at about 6a.m. Watch the local and migratory birds. Return to the Abas at about 10 a.m. Take food and rest for sometime. Then start your journey towards your home.
