It is the biggest town in Ponidzie, situated near the state road nr 73 leading from Kielce to Tarnów, about 50 kilometers from Kielce. Curative powers of the unique healing waters has enjoyed city the fame of a health resort since 1836. Among illnesses treated in Busko are: rheumatological, neurological, dermatological and traumating ones along with cilcuratory system diseases.
