1228 rue Sherbrooke Ouest ih Montréal (Québec) H3G1H6 is oldest Ritz-Carlton in existence (famous for hosting the wedding of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton), designed by Warren & Wetmore. Currently being rebuilt as a combination luxury hotel/condo complex, with a new rear wing and new levels on top. The historic exterior and public rooms on the ground level are being restored to their original appearance.
