Banuan (Banua):Place of late Narayan Mehta

The name of this place "Banuan" was because of "Purana Kila" in the forest of Banyan Tree. This place was although come in existence during Kingdom of Morya yet this name was used first by British officers. Its most of the ancient signs of history were now soiled completely. Presently the climate is changed and forest were replaced by agricultural fields. Late Lakshman Mehta, father of late Narayan Mehta was the last legend of his Jamindari family.
