The former castle of Annendael (Annadael/Annadaal) is near the village of Maria-Hoop in the municipality of Echt-Susteren. The castle was built in 1618 by the order of count Herman Frederick van den Bergh for his sisters Anna and Charlotte. The castle was named after Anna. The count was serving at the side of the king of Spain against his rebellious uncle, William of Orange.
The castle was demolished in the 19th century and only ruins remain.
The area is protected as a monument by Dutch law and carries the inventory number 14259.
