Elbe II U-boat Bunker (Hamburg)


This is the location of the former Elbe II U-boat bunker, now destroyed and paved over. The other U-boat bunker of Hamburg's harbor is the Fink II located further to the west.

In 1985 the remains of 3 type XXI U-boats were found inside. U-2505, U-3004, and U-3506. They were buried when the pens were filled in with gravel.
