The station is called Kampen but it is placed in IJsselmuiden in the opposite of Kampen over the river IJssel. 'Kamperlijntje' is the nickname for the railway Zwolle – Kampen. The traject is 12 kilometres long and has only two stations: Zwolle and Kampen. Travelling time between the two stations is about 10 minutes. The railway is been exploited by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (with diesel trains type called 'Buffel') and it is been cofinaced by the province Overijssel and the communities Zwolle and Kampen.
