The Rosemont Horizon, known as the Allstate Arena as of 1999, is an indoor arena in Rosemont, Illinois located north of the O'Hare International Airport. It is home of the Chicago Wolves of the AHL (formerly of the IHL), the DePaul University Blue Demons men's basketball team, the Chicago Sky of the WNBA and was also the home of the Chicago Rush of the AFL from 2001 to 2008. Other tenants that played in the Horizon include the Chicago Horizon of the MISL from 1980–1981, the Chicago Sting of the MISL from 1984–1988, Chicago Bruisers of the AFL from 1987–1989, and the Chicago Skyliners of the ABA from 2000–2002. The arena was built from 1977 to 1980 at a cost of $19,000,000. It has a seating capacity of 17,000. In August 1979 the roof collapsed during construction killing 5 and injuring 16. The arena was intended to be the home of the WHA's Chicago Cougars, but the franchise folded in 1975. In 1999, the Allstate Insurance Company paid $20,000,000 to renovate the Horizon and gain its naming rights. Also in 1999 it hosted the Great Midwesten Conference men's basketball tournament. It hosted the WWE's Wrestlemania 2 (with the Nassau Coliseum and the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena) in 1986, Wrestlemania 13 in 1997, and Wrestlemania 22 in 2006.
