Erie Canal, lock (water navigation)
The Utica Harbor Lock connect the Utica Harbor with the Erie Canal. The lock is unique as it is the only full sized lock not on the canal itself. Further the upper gate is a drop guard-gate style door, while the lower door is a normal miter gate. The lock has 7 feet of lift.
