  • This pool was home to both the Port Moresby Swimming club and the Boroko swimming club. Three lanes for each club and two for the public. It was a VERY heavily clorinated pool.
  • Very Heavily chlorinated is true! I remember my eyes getting red after spending more than an hour in the pool. But it was a nice place to go to during the hot months of the year and play with my little toy boat - back in the 80s when I was a kid :)
  • I swam in this pool in the early 80's through to the early 90's, great memories!
