One of Skuleberget mountain’s claims to fame is that it was marked on the first maps of Scandinavia. It also has a famous cave, on its eastern side, called "The King’s Cave", which is a popular attraction for visitors and was long reputed to be the haunt of brigands. From the parking place on the eastern side you can choose to walk, climb or take the cable car to the summit, nearly three hundred metres above sea level. At the top is a cafe where you can enjoy a coffee along with stunning views.
