Baiterek ( or Byterek, formerly Novoalekseevka) is a village in the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the Baiterek rural district. According to the 2009 census, there were 9,679 people living in the village (4,407 men and 5,272 women).
