The Source of Mbagathi (Embakasi) River

kenya's second longest river, Athi River has several of sources. This is the the one farthest from Ngong Hills (where the rest of the other sources are located). It is traditionally known as the source of the Mbagathi river which joins Ololua river to form the Embakasi River which farther downstream becomes Athi River as it enters the savanna plateau on its was to the Indian Ocean.

  • i wish Kenyans would take the responsibility of enhancing the forest cover as a devotion to increase the purity of oxygen and also revamp the catchment areas on our planet. Let us use alternative energy to avoid felling trees at the rate of causing havoc caused by droughts and storms. Nature is unkind if you mess it up.
