Wolangbong (월랑봉) is a favorite for oreum climbers on Jeju with its impressive height reaching 382.4 meters above sea level. The crater itself is also popular among climbers and extreme sport enthusiasts. From the northern rim, Wolangbong's crater has an initial decline of 40 degrees. Local expats have used the crater of Wolangbong for volcano sliding since 2000. Paragliders can also be seen using Wolanbong as a take off point for flight.
