The famous Sherman Square Skating Rink was located in Reseda California before it was torn down and replaced by a Walgreen Drugstore in late 2001.
This rink was the site of Cher's Hollywood People private Monday Nite skating party and numerous feature film "Wrap Parties" .
In it's final years the rink had a very diversified attendance.
Monday: Mix of show people and others.
Tuesday: All the great "demented" people
Wednesday: Gay Nite
Thursday: Black Nite
Friday: Christian Nite

  • Spent every Saturday at Sherman Square from 1969 - 1971, some of the best memories of my childhood are from skating. I bet I put a million miles on the skates at the rink and the pair I had at home, round and round the block and everywhere we went , we went on skates. :D
