Good friendly town close to London and with easy access to the North Downs. So friendly that when six of the seven oaks blew down in the hurricane and were replaced with young saplings, local vandals destroyed them.

Birthplace of Bill Bruford of Yes and King Crimson and also toured with Genesis in 1976
