Mankhan Soum, Hovd Aimag, Mongolia
This is were I lived for two years, as a TEFL Peace Corps Volunteer, from Sept 2003 to May 2005. This satellite photo was taken sometime very recently (after 2005). I can see several significant clues to determine this (new buildings there, etc.). I am delighted to see such a high resolution image available to the public! Town officials will now be able to use wikimapia to plan various projects and take a clear look at how buildings relate to one another. This is a predominantly Zakhchin ethnic village.
