  • I come from Shinas, and it is a bit of a rural type town. Villages are scatterred along the coast with the main shinas as a central village that has a beautiful small harbour that incorporates traditional fishing boats whoch are reasonably big and are made of wood locally but currently they have seen big motors of 740 HP plus on board. Shinas is also the closest Omani welayat(state) to the border with UAE.
