Ukraine / Kyyiv / Kiev / Kyiv
 park, grove

Cadet Grove is a historical location in Kiev, across which a creek flows with the same name (right tributary of Lybid river). The location is known since end of the 18th century as the Grove of Shulyavka, while after the construction here of the Kiev Vladimirsky Cadet School in 1857 (Povitroflotsky prospekt, 6) as the Cadet Grove. It stretched between Shulyavka, Solomenka and Chokalivka covering parts of the contemporary Povitroflotsky prospekt and Pervomaisky residential massif. Bigger portion of the grove was cut down during the Russian Civil War and with time urbanized. The rest is a park zone between vulytsia Umanska and railroad.
