Combination nature preserve/zoo. Home to numerous species of wildlife native to Illinois in semi-natural enclosures. Also home to excellent birding on the outlying trails. Particularly good during migration and early breeding season. The Flood Plain trail accessed from the back of the barnyard area and running along Kickapoo Creek is a good during early breeding season. All the remaining outer trails can be good during migration.
