Alpenrose Dairy was established in 1916. The 52 acre grounds include Circuit d’Alpenrose, a velodrome. The track was built to host the 1967 National Championships. Alpenrose Field, the site of baseball and softball games, including Little League Softball World Series games, since 1956. Dairyville, a replica of a western frontier town with an opera house and large pipe organ. Also, there is a quarter-midget racing arena. The dairy no longer has cows, but still processes milk.
